Jen, Vazz and All That Jazz! Feb 23 Romeoville, IL

Jen and Kim promised me singing, and they surely did deliver.

They promised me rowdy girls, and they did deliver.

They promised me team teaching, and they did deliver.

---However, my understanding of team teaching was very simplistic. I was simply looking forward to taking class from two instructors who would occasionally alternate teaching.

Jen and Kim (Vazz) are quite the natural act. I sit here struggling to come up with words to paint an adequate picture to describe them. Jen and Kim had a bantering conversation that was loaded with instantaneous and colorful remarks, replies, and counter replies in between perfectly executed Jazzercise cues. Sometimes it was remark, giggle, counter giggle, reply, cue, continue. It was really cool. They were so tuned into each other and really listening to each other. “Coffee Time” is one routine that they worked magically together. They are the Broadway musical version of Jazzercise. I was near Chicago, and my mind was thinking, “Jen, Vazz, All that Jazz”!

I left with a goody bag which included many candies and a Jazzercise refrigerator magnet. I also left with a blow up air guitar signed by all the students and instructors.

A lot of air guitar playing was happening on stage by Jim, Lisa, Jen, and Kim (Vazz).

Lisa, Jen, and I went to Chili’s after class. Great time! And, by the way, Jen and Lisa, I see some face book pictures of the two of you on stage with the Instant Recall cover band. You’re both looking a little rowdy! I hope to hear both of you sing with the band someday too!

Here is my recommendation. All Jazzercisers throughout the state of IL, WI, and IN should go to Andrew High School in Tinley Park on April 14th, 15th, or 16th at 7:00 pm. Kim’s choreography will be featured in the musical, “The Pirates of Penzance”. If I get within 250 miles that weekend, I’ll surely be there.

I want to see Karen hoop dance!  In fact, if any of my Jazzercise face book friends have additional artistic talents, let me know.  I will come cheer for you.

Jen, thank you so much for everything you did to make this a wonderful Jazzercise visit.
