The class let me know that the entire city of Hot Springs is a National Park; therefore, the very Jazzercise floor is part of the national park. We were all like happy Gazelles springing through the meadows. Rene' and Stephanie were our park rangers, and it was my birthday.:)
Although I have since tried to repeat the feat, this was the first time that I have attepted to interact with everybody in the room during Jazzercise routines. I don't know what the ladies said when I left, but there seemed to be a lot of smiles while I was there. Stephanie told her class that they were getting a workout and a show.
Connie W. posted that she remebered me from the past, and Debi S. asked how long I have been Jazzercising.
I started Jazzercising in 1996.
This made me wonder the approximate date of my first visit to Hot Springs. I went fishing through my Jazzercise files to see what I could find about my past visits.
I have eight Jazzercise shirts loaded with names and Jazzercise locations. I was having them signed between 2000 and 2004. I found Rene' two times!
I come back to Jazzercise classes for one of three reasons: you have a big parking lot, I am treated like I'm special, or the class is just great. Rene' has always covered all three, and I keep coming back again and again.
My first visit to Hot Springs was in 1998, and apparently I wrote Kay a very nice and clever thank you note. ---I have no idea what I said in that note. Kay sent a copy to DM Emma, and Emma sent me a nice note back. (Sometimes I get on a roll. Sometimes I get writer's block. Must have been a good day.)
Who did I dance with? You will have to help me. I know front left was Carol Jo and Left center was Jennifer G. Both were playing along and dancing with enthusiam. I would have been happy right there for the full hour.
However, I found my way to the right side of the room. I had choo choo train arms synchronized with front right center, and I was having a big time emulating footwork with front right corner.
If you need some dental work, I hear(from a Jazzercise student) you can enjoy some drilling in a massage chair at a local Hot Springs dentist. I was talking to three jazzercisers before class. I enjoyed dancing with all of them on the right side of the room.
I ensured the back row had an equal opportunity to give me attention on my birthday.
Stephanie, I enjoyed your class. I enjoyed dancing on your stage. I liked your personal presentation. You seemed like a kind gentle soul with a whole lot of energy.
